On Feb. 13, 2023, red and blue lights blared through East Lansing as hundreds of first responders raced to Michigan State University's campus to respond to a mass shooting. A gunman fired at students in MSU’s Berkey Hall, as well as the MSU Union. Three students were killed. Five more were critically injured. Many more were affected.
This story is about the events that unfolded on the night of Feb. 13, and about a community coming together to try to heal.
